Ornamental nursery Školky Montano mainly operates as a grower and wholesaler of ornamental plants. We grow plants in containers (pots) on the area of 8 ha and plants in free soil on other 8 ha. We use for multiplication of plants the 6000 m2 of glasshouses and 7000 m2 of plastic greenhouses, those also serve for overwintering evergreen plants. Our ornamental nursery is still growing, We are continually expanding the paved area for plants in containers as well as an area for growing in free soil.
Production includes the production of ornamental trees, deciduous and coniferous trees, hedges, groundcovering, solitary trees, and species for greening the landscape, including autochthonous. We also offer perennial flowers, summer flowers and balcony plants in a wide range. In addition, we grow trees for the forest and restoration under licence for growing seedlings of forest trees of Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic.
Our gardeners provide specialized information to our customers. We also provide transportation plants upon request.
Our customers are mainly professional landscape companies, garden centers, florists, ornamental nurseries, forestry companies, municipalities and realizing gardening companies. We supplied plants also to foreign companies from Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Russia Novosibirsk and Moscow and from others.
